The eCligner aligner system

Each eCligner therapy is an individual treatment that caters for the needs and treatment objectives of each single patient. In principal the eCligner treatment is divided in several steps that are tuned to the needs of each patient.

During one individual step of treatment three aligners of different layer thickness are worn in weekly intervals. The applied layer thicknesses are 0.5 mm (soft), 0.62 mm (medium) and 0.75 mm (hard). The use of varying layer thicknesses is one of the essential differences of eCligner to other products. Clinical studies brought evidence that the use of soft aligners at the beginning of a treatment phase is of decisive importance.

The very thin first layer thickness of the aligner triggers lowest biological energies that stimulate the reorganization processes within the Desmodont. The usual pain of pressure thus can be avoided.

eCligner Mechanic

The eCligner method bases on the digitalized and three-dimensional capture of the treatment result and its intermediate steps.

Conventional and generally accepted and respected principals of modern orthodontics played a decisive role
at the new development of eCligner. The treatment simulation applied with the eCligner aligner system is not just based on any assumptions and photo simulations!
The result of the simulation shown to the patient gives a relatively close picture of the final result.

Range of application

Who and what can be treated with eCligner
The range of application of eCligner is nearly unlimited. eCligner aligner can be applied to correct almost any misplacement of teeth. Smaller and medium scale orthodontic corrections are ideal cases. This is one reason why the eCligner aligner system can be applied by both, orthodontists, who will apply it to treat even complex cases, and dentists with orthodontical experience.
